I don't know if there a market for a smaller travel size model, where the heating head stays the same, but maybe a strong clip on attachment instead of a table lamp base? Just a thought.

Also to have a special container to easily fold it up and travel with it. A flexible arm where the head is attached, can be moved around and easily bent to pack it up smaller. Just like a clip on small desk lamp. Or a clamp type mount, like a adjustable vice, where you screw it tighter or looser, depending on size of where you want to mount it, may be better. Portable unit may be used by massage therapist who do house calls, or people who travel and have pain issues.

Like the dial timer, instead of the digital, I think less chance of something going wrong, keeps cost of unit lower, more people can buy it then.

I use it mainly on my knees when I do some walking, I usually use the lamp before exercising. Seems to help heat up joints, gives me more range of movement when walking. I believe it also helps repair joint damage, and also muscle tears. Boyfriend uses it for back and when he has overdone it on exercising.  "
